The Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes' annual fall fundraising gala, "I Cared for One," is going virtual for the first time! Yes, Covid-19 has presented unique challenges for all of us including TBCH. This gala has historically been a $100,000 night for raising funds which help us continue to welcome children in hard places with the love of Christ.

As president of TBCH, I want to do two things. First, for those of you who love our ministry and have supported us by praying, serving and giving I want to say "Thank you!" You know that we are donor supported. We choose not to receive government funding so that we are never in danger of compromising our Biblical principles as we care for children in Jesus' name. Your help is greatly appreciated and I thank the Lord for using you to help meet the needs of more than 250 children this year. 

Secondly, I want to give you the opportunity to invest in our children over the next eleven days. If you are new to TBCH check out our website at tennesseechildren.org. In light of the fact that we have lost hundreds of man-hours of volunteer labor and had to cancel several fundraising events due to the pandemic, would you consider making a generous online gift to "I Cared for One?"

Over the past six years I have learned a lot of things at TBCH. One of them is that there are all kinds of great organizations who are asking for your money! So search your heart, consider your finances, and if the Lord leads you to contribute, we promise to be a good steward of your hard earned money as it is used to make a difference in the life of a child!
